Gartensaal: for people who enjoy elegant dining and good conversation. It’s the perfect place to see and be seen. A restaurant with a distinguished past and great tradition.
Schluuch: rustic, with a large tiled stove, wooden tables and old rifles on the walls. It takes guests back to a past era. Not surprisingly, the “Schluuch” is the regular pub for many locals.
Garten: meeting place sheltered by chestnut trees.
Fontduechalet: Our cozy chalet during winter for 8 to 10 persons. Enjoy a fondue in many variations with family and friends.
Our chef de cuisine and his team take great pleasure in preparing gourmet classics originating from the French and local Swiss cuisine.
You can choose from culinary classics, such as beef fillet « irish angus », chateaubriand and sole, or opt for something simpler, such as a Jenzer gold sausage with rösti or the special of the day.

Basel's “Schützenhaus” was created between 1561 and 1564. Until 1899, when the firing range was relocated to Allschwiler Weiher, the Association of Riflemen Basel practiced in front of the Schützenhaus. Since 1945, the “Schützenhaus” has been a restaurant. The Association of Riflemen was founded by Basel’s guilds in 1466 and to this day provides the upkeep for the listed Schützenhaus and its Rifle Museum.
